Privacy Policy

This applies to Bureau of Chat's browser extension and web tools (currently: Viewer Passport).

What we collect

• Your Twitch login, display name, and avatar, from Twitch's own API using a token you explicitly grant via Twitch's login screen.
• Per-channel badges you hold (moderator, VIP, subscriber tier and tenure), read directly from your own chat messages as they render on twitch.tv while the extension is active. We never read other viewers' messages or badges.
• Nothing is collected unless you've connected your Twitch account through the extension or a channel's signup page.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or share this data with any third party.
• We don't track your browsing outside of twitch.tv.
• We don't store your Twitch password -- authentication happens entirely through Twitch's own OAuth login.

How it's used

Solely to build the "passport" shown when you or a streamer's chat bot invokes !boarding: your channel history, badges, and subscription tenure, so it can be presented as an overlay card in the streamer's broadcast.

Removing your data

To request deletion of any data associated with your Twitch account, send a message via Twitch to diminished_seventh.
